The current version of libpnet6 is still an alpha. This is mainly so
because no extensive documentation has been written yet, and no serious
testing has been done yet. Also, there's some functionality that still
needs tuning up or even implementing. Hopefully, feedback from the current
alpha releases will help out in improving the code and making it beta-ready
as soon as possible.
The latest version always has the highest number and/or letter code.
Although it works, there's still a lot of things that need tuning up,
and some functions might get changed/removed/etc...
Until the library has reached a more stable status, no major numbers
will be given.

I haven't been able to keep up with making binary releases for each
platform I'm trying to support. No matter, the make procedure is portable,
so I'm hoping everyone'll just make their own binaries.
